Stuffed Mussels 1 lb Mussels Salt and Pepper 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 6 tbsp white bread crumbs 3 1/2 oz dry white wine or water 1 tbsp roughly chopped parsley 1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed 1 red chili, deseeded and finely chopped Directions: Clean the mussels well. Rinse the mussels under cold water. Put them in a large shallow pan. Add the white wine or water. Put a lid on the pan and cook on high for 1-2 minutes until they’ve opened. Drain and set aside to cool.
Separate the shells into halves, discarding the empty halves. Lay the mussels on a try and refrigerate. In a bowl, mix together the bread crumbs, Parmesan, and parsley.
Heat the oil in a small pan and add garlic and chili. Cook for 1 minute, being sure not to burn the garlic. Stir in bread crumbs and season to taste.
Preheat grill to a hot setting. Spoon the bread crumb mixture over the mussels and grill for 4 - 5 minutes until crust is golden brown.

Recently Orbit Software team members had the unique opportunity to team up with the TV show “Our Planet” to release feature presentation on “Transportation Solutions for the 21st Century”. Producers worked with OSI as well as seasoned BusBoss users from Great Valley School District to create an inside look into how transportation has evolved from the first school bus in 1827 to today. The episode of Our Planet will highlight the innovative ways BusBoss Transportation Software, coupled with it’s add-ons such as TRIPpatrol GPS tracking, has allowed users to optimize their transportation departments, producing more efficient routing and a “Greener” district. “We are very happy to be part of an industry that promotes student safety while ensuring a cleaner planet tomorrow by providing a product that reduces resource requirements”, said Sonia Mastros, President of Orbit Software. “We are making the planet better, one school district at a time.” For more information on the Our Planet episode, or to view the video, please visit: |

The Outer Banks of North Carolina is where Greg and his best friend Garrett spent a week in 2006. While vacationing there, they spent most of their time relaxing on the beach and enjoying the sand dunes. They also enjoyed visiting the Wright Brothers Museum in nearby Kitty Hawk, where the brothers first took flight. The Outer Banks offer many other fun activities such as hand gliding and deep sea fishing.

With only a few days left of summer, autumn will be upon us in no time. Saying goodbye to warm weather, picnics at the park and weekends at the beech will be heartbreaking. However, here are some reasons to look forward to the months ahead. Fall Foilage - Watching the leaves turn to red, brown, orange, and yellow is a favorite of many. Spend a day driving in the country to see one of natures fine wonders. Bonfires - Fall is the perfect time for Bonfires. Spending an evening with the family gathered around a big bonfire can be a great experience for us all. Schools Starts - Having the children home can be nice but once September gets here we’re relieved school is back in session.

Sweater Weather - Leaves are not the only things changing once autumn arrives. Cooler weather and the crisp air is a nice change from the hot and muggy. Plus it gives us a chance to wear our hoodies! Holidays - Everyone loves holidays. This season gives us a chance to splurge on candy at Halloween and a time to reflect what we have to be grateful for at Thanksgiving. Corn Maze and Hayrides - These fun activities aren’t just for the kids. Spend time with the family getting lost in a corn maze or enjoying a hay ride. Playing in the Leaves - With all the leaves falling, raking them can be quite a chore. The joys of piling them up and jumping in them can be enjoyable for all of us.

|
Picking Apples - Mmmm, Picking apples can be both fun and rewarding. Spend an afternoon at an orchard and then enjoy the yummy apple dumplings and pies. Did you know…. Italy was the first country to celebrate Valentines Day. |
|
This tragic event didn’t really have an affect on me until the past few years. Once I began working at Orbit, I began flying pretty regularly. There’s been many times I’ve sat in my seat on the plane thinking about what it must have been like to be on one of the planes that day. |
|
September means different things to each of us. To students and parents it could signify school is back in session. Some might think of it as the end of summer while others might see it as the beginning of autumn. But I’m sure to all of us, September reminds us of that terrible day ten years ago on 9/11. Do you remember what you were doing when our country was under attack? I was twenty years old at the time, and was spending the day at home babysitting my cousins baby. At the time, I very rarely watched the news let alone paid attention to current events. I remember the television just happened to be on and I seen the towers falling with smoke and ash everywhere. |
|
In 2009, I had the opportunity to visit ground zero. It’s great to see we are rebuilding the towers and believe it shows that we as a nation can overcome any obstacle that is put in our path. Holly Nowakowski |
